Chapter 44 Witnessing Growth and Pride

The winter sun shone through the thin clouds, casting its warmth on every corner of the campus. Shen Yichen and Lin Youran walked side by side on the campus path, enjoying this rare moment of leisure.

"Yichen, do you think our vow will come true?" Lin Youran suddenly stopped and turned to look at Shen Yichen, her eyes filled with anticipation and unease.

Shen Yichen gently held Lin Youran's hand and smiled tenderly, "Youran, why did you suddenly ask about this? Of course it will happen. As long as we work together, nothing is impossible."

Lin Youran nodded, but a trace of doubt remained between her brows: "But, Yichen, do you know? I've been feeling very lost lately, and I don't know where my future lies."

Shen Yichen patted Lin Youran's shoulder understandingly: "Youran, don't worry. Everyone goes through this stage; it's part of growing up. You have to believe in your abilities and in our vows. As long as we don't give up, we will definitely find our own path."

Shen Yichen was taken aback for a moment, then explained, "You Ran, don't misunderstand. I just wanted to check the latest match updates and relax. After all, studying all the time is tiring."

Lin Youran's dissatisfaction had not completely dissipated upon hearing this: "Yichen, I know you like basketball, but that shouldn't interfere with your studies. We all have our own responsibilities and dreams, and we can't always be so casual."

Shen Yichen knew Lin Youran was right, and he sighed softly, "Youran, you're right. I'll adjust my mindset and stop worrying you."

Shen Yichen walked to Lin Youran's side and gently patted her shoulder: "Youran, don't be discouraged. Creation requires inspiration, but inspiration doesn't come out of thin air.
