Lin Ni was awakened by a suffocating sensation. When she woke up, she found herself being pulled forward in the water. She choked on some water and quickly covered her mouth, suspecting that she would have drowned if she had woken up any later. Fortunately, the black snake quickly pulled Lin Ni into a dark passage and then left the water.
Once out of the water and ashore, Linni coughed incessantly; water had gotten into her trachea, and her throat was incredibly sore. Just as she finished coughing, she heard someone else coughing beside her. Linni glanced to the side and could only make out a bald man in the darkness.
