Chapter 23 How do females cultivate?

Aya laughed and said, "I've been an adult for five years." Seeing Linni looking at her partner markings, she said, "I only have six partners now because one of them died in a hunt last year."

She climbed over the pile of animal hides and pulled out a fist-sized ball of off-white thread, which she handed to Linni: "This is thread grass that I boiled and dried. It's especially good for sewing clothes. You can take it and use it."

"Thank you, Aya!" Linni accepted it without hesitation and examined it carefully: the thread was as thick as three strands of her fine thread, and it looked very resilient.
