Chapter 1649 - 1211: Sword Rain Pool and Sea of Stars_2
"Do you know we defeated the Angels sent by the Divine Lord?" Ash was unsurprised.
Divine Lord’s Angels defeated → World Secret Domain falls into their hands → Fulfilling Divine Lord’s prerequisites for triggering the Six-winged Trial. This chain of reasoning is transparent to the Divine Lord, and Ash and his team couldn’t possibly hide it.
"Of course, although we missed the chance to support the Vice Monarch, we were fortunate to witness the unparalleled brilliance of the Vice Monarch and his followers from the traces left on the battlefield. The ordinary lackeys sent by the Divine Lord can only disgrace themselves in front of you." Sword Law said, "By the way, congratulations to Miss Silver Lamp for mastering the Land of Senluo. We originally intended to have Miss Silver Lamp pass a message to the Vice Monarch, but she has already merged with Senluo, and we cannot even find a trace of her."
In the Divine War of Senluo, Silver Lamp infiltrated the Land of Senluo to enhance combat power. As a consequence, she had to endure the lingering Green Curse of Senluo, but she managed to nearly merge with Senluo. Later, Ash (Mirror Demon) integrated a Mountain of Corpses and Blood Sea into the Land of Senluo, benefiting Silver Lamp greatly due to her fusion with Senluo.
If she was a defier of Fate, now she’s at least recognized as a Gardener of Senluo.
Half a month ago, Weiser knew the Sword Angels had been to Senluo, but had no time to act before they left. Her essence remains in Senluo, yet she is able to conceal it within the world due to world authority.
If Senluo flourishes a bit more and Silver Lamp gains more authority, she might even bring down calamities as punishment on invaders.
"Did the Vice Monarch complete the trial, or didn’t undergo it at all?" Star Law mused puzzledly, "But those lackeys abandoned four Secret Realms; Mr. Ash surely didn’t leave without taking any, did he...?"
"Regardless of whether the Vice Monarch completed the trial or not, only by returning with us can the Heavenly Kingdom secure a place in Heaven," Sword Law said seriously, "I have no doubts that the Vice Monarch is the fastest ascending genius Mage ever, but Heaven isn’t just composed of four Divine Lords and contains the Supreme Realm of Dreams."
"So far, the Lord hasn’t seriously dealt with you, whether unwilling or incapable, but soon, the Supreme Magic will be unleashed without restraint upon earth. Then, Vice Monarch, you’ll be unable to hide wherever you go. But if you step into the Seven Heavens proactively, you’ll face not just the Supreme of Magic, but also His realm, His Angels, and His vast accumulation over millennia."
"Not just you, your followers as well," Sword Law spoke frankly, "There’s simply no place for them in the Seven Heavens. We’re planning to drive other Divine Lords out of Heaven."
"But if you become the Vice Monarch of the Heavenly Kingdom, it will be entirely different." He focused on Ash, "Our Lord is wholeheartedly capturing the Seven Layers of the Void Realm, and the Seven Heavens would be under your control. Whoever ascends would depend on your decision."
Though it’s all temptation, times have changed. Sword Maiden and her companions were mere ordinary demigods a few months ago; Sword Law’s side lacked authority over World Secret Domains, offering only the privilege of becoming Sword Angels to Sword Maiden and her followers. As for whether Ash could secure a World Secret Domain from Dazzling Star for his women, that would depend on his ability.
Now, with Sword Maiden and her companions possessing World Secret Domains, Sword Angels offer even better conditions or rather, apply more severe penalties—if Ash doesn’t become the Vice Monarch of the Heavenly Kingdom representing Dazzling Star, Sword Maiden and her companions could forget about ever entering Heaven!
Nevertheless... Sword Law looked at the expressionless Ash and smiled wryly, "Although I don’t think it will be effective, what if you actually came seeking an opportunity to switch sides?"
"You need to halt your progress here," Ash stated.
"Sword Maiden’s trial?" Sword Law instantly knew the answer and exchanged a glance with Star Law; he spoke earnestly, "Whatever the outcome, we won’t advance any further."
"Thank you," Ash sincerely thanked them.
The rain gradually became steady and sharp; regardless of the raging winds, each drop pierced the ground like a straight sword; vibrant starlight broke through the dark clouds, adorning each rain drop with its brightness—starlight and rain interradiated until it seemed countless rays were falling from the sky, forming a dazzling Miracle of Rain, fragmenting into a brilliant sea of stars on the earth.
Only Ash within it sensed the danger beneath such beauty; he gazed up past the Rain Curtain toward the dazzling Star Cluster and asked, "What is the name of this World Secret Domain?"
"Ocean of Stars," replied Star Law, wielding the Star Moon Wand as six Void Wings spread freely, "It has been three thousand years since the Lord entrusted me to manage this domain."
Ash mused, "The Ocean of Stars and Sword Rain Pool... these two World Secret Domains surprisingly merge so perfectly; I presume you aren’t working separately?"
"Naturally," Sword Law answered, "In the Seven Heavens, rare cases like Sword Rain Pool and Ocean of Stars that mutually enhance each other are few. However, the last Heavenly War was ages ago; who knows how many more Secret Realm combinations other Divine Lords have discovered during this time."
"Though I imagine your combat power has significantly increased since our last meeting by defeating the main Angels of other Divine Lords, I strongly advise against futile resistance," Sword Law caught a rain droplet, transforming it into a starry glass sword, and unfolded six Void Wings fully, resonating with Star Law’s Angel, "One, your followers aren’t with you, two..."
"You honestly don’t have a World Secret Domain, do you?"
Ash smiled, asking again, "Our combat’s aftermath and sights and sounds won’t escape from here, will they?"
"If the aftermath and sights or sounds could escape, then you could naturally leave too," Star Law stated, "Fear not, we wouldn’t leave such an elementary flaw."
"Then I’m reassured," Ash relaxed, drawing two swords from his sleeves, "Oh, do you happen to know this information—that within Angels’ World Secret Domains are their Divine Lord’s consciousness avatars; during battle, Angels switch with Divine Lords mid-way, which means we not only battled Angels fiercely but faced Divine Lords directly once."
Sword Law’s expression remained unchanged, "Thanks for the intel, but do you think it shakes our resolve?"
Ash shook his head, smiling, "No, I actually want to ask, are there consciousness avatars of Dazzling Star within the Sword Rain Pool and Ocean of Stars?"
"Who knows?" Star Law responded, "The Lord’s gaze is on fate and future, beyond our guessing; regardless of presence, everything is under His consideration."
Sword Law laughed, "Vice Monarch, if the Lord appears, what would you do?"
"That would be great, I’ve long been anticipating her confronting me instead of you, since then..."
Ash discarded his cloak, his long hair flowing in the wind; the pride in his eyes made Sword Law feel an inexplicable sense of déjà vu, seeming to overlap momentarily with a red-haired girl’s figure.
"...I could thoroughly teach her a lesson."
