In the muddy swamp, an Earth Dragon was yanked out by the Stone Giant, its tail securely grasped in the giant’s iron-strong hand and then slammed into the ground with force.

Brown ripples spread through the swamp from the point of impact, converging at the center where a vortex suddenly formed.

The Stone Giant’s legs sunk down, but it bellowed again, "Wudong!".

Quickly it bent its knees, using its elbows to smash down on the Earth Dragon’s head, cracks appearing on the thick rock crown.

"Shush!"

With a flash of a black shadow, Ye Liuying mounted herself on the Dragon’s back, driving her blade, coated in poison, into the open wound.

Before the Earth Dragon could fiercely retaliate, she gave the Wings of Night a light flap, and she was back on the shoulder of the Stone Giant, her legs folded elegantly with the tips of her lotus-like toes curled upwards.

A slightly upturned chin and the gleam in her bright eyes were enough evidence that she was firmly controlling the rhythm of the battle, with no doubts about the final victory.

The fierce battle ended after several minutes. The Earth Dragon collapsed, and the muddy water splattered far and wide.

Ye Liuying commanded the Stone Giant to first rip off the tail of the Earth Dragon. Then, it peeled off the Scale Armor, in search of the Earth Dragon Crystal inside its body.

It was a powerful Earth Element Spiritual Material that could be used as a fertilizer for the Demon Heart Chrysanthemums.

If necessary, a handful of crystals could instantly create a sturdy earth wall that could be a hundred meters high – a one-time defensive tool.

"Five minutes faster than expected; not bad at all."

Under the shade of a not so far-off tree, Lord Han was baking meat.

The Stone Giant strode over and collapsed onto the ground, swallowing chunks of the Earth Dragon’s scales, throwng any semblance of manners out the window.

Lord Han laughed gracefully and held out the skewer in his hand.

"Oh? Did you obliterate the entire Dragon Nest?"

Despite hunting the Earth Dragon, there was no sign that Ye Liuying had suffered any injury.

However, after a few bites of the skewer, her forehead started beading with sweat, and she began gasping continuously.

"Almost, perhaps there’s one or two laggards left, but it doesn’t matter."

Lord Han said casually, as he began to savour the roast dragon meat.

The meat was from a Blood Bee Dragon - a prize that had taken over half a month to hunt, reddened in color, dripping with blood even though it was only seared to medium rare.

After a few bites, Lord Han, too, started breaking out in a heavy sweat, clearly uncomfortable from the heat.

However, he could feel the nourishing properties of the meat yielding the energy for several days. If they suffered minor injuries, they wouldn’t even need Guagua’s treatment; they would recover pretty quickly.

"All right, we have almost wiped out this area now; it’s time to find another place."

Fully satiated, Lord Han stretched lazily, rising with a spirited demeanor.

"A few days ago, I found a trace of the Moon Shadow Dragon. What do you think, should we go search for it?"

While cleaning up the remaining traces, Ye Liuying whispered, "This dragon is rare. If we could find its habitat, we are likely to find the Moon Shadow Flower."

Constantly keeping their abilities activated to move within shadows increased their safety significantly, but it also continuously drained their physical energy and spirit—none of these were long-term solutions.

Considering these factors, the two occasionally switched their modes of travel.

For instance, Huazhu. She could harness the Wind Element to lift them–their speed wasn’t too shabby that way.

Guagua could also help. It could transform into a small, agile Dragon, carrying the two as it dashes around merrily.

A whirlwind rose, Huazhu’s turn this time.

Ever since she ascended the Ascension Decimation Embryo, her control over the wind had become effortless.

Her additional skill, the ’Detection Wind’, allowed a faint breeze to circulate around her, sensing the lurking and approaching danger.
