Chapter 1096: Dad, this is my girlfriend

In November 2013, Huang Erhe went to the United States on a business trip. However, he did not tell Maowa about it in advance. Instead, he planned to give him a surprise and also see how his son was doing there.

After completing all official business, Huang Erhe asked the team leader for two days off. Maowa, pushing his stroller, ran up to his father with a smile: "Dad, when did you get here? Why didn't you call me beforehand?"

Su Jin smiled and nodded: "Yes."

Huang Erhe then asked, "How did you two meet?"

Before Maowa could speak, Su Jin interrupted, "Uncle, we met at the airport."

Su Jin rattled off the whole story clearly, and Huang Erhe's face lit up with a smile after listening: "That means you two are destined for each other!"

He then asked Su Jin about her family background, and Su Jin told him the truth. Huang Erhe was more and more satisfied as he listened. This girl came from a respectable family; her parents were a lawyer and a bank manager, making her a good match for his family.

The three of them took a taxi to a restaurant in Los Angeles, which was said to have pretty good Cantonese food.

Su Jin had some things she didn't say. Before she and Mao Wa officially started dating, Mao Wa hardly ever rode a bicycle and usually relied on his own two legs. It was only after he started dating her that he began riding a bicycle.

Furthermore, Su Jin is not a materialistic girl and is not very interested in cars.

While waiting for the food, Huang Erhe asked about the two students' studies.
